The Microbes, Microbiomes and Bioinformatics (MMB) Doctoral Training Programme at the University of East Anglia (UEA), funded by the UKRI Medical Research Council, trains postgraduate research students in microbiology with a focus on bioinformatics. Programme directors include Dr Ben Evans (UEA), and Professor Mark Webber and Dr Gemma Langridge (Quadram Institute Bioscience).
As part of the training programme, CLIMB provides infrastructure to host yearly bioinformatics training sessions for the MMB cohort โ a ready-to-use JupyterLab environment with access to Jupyter notebooks, RStudio and Nextflow for hands-on data analysis.
