This Bioinformatics Hands-on Workshop on the MRC Cloud Infrastructure for Micorbial Bioinformatics is hosted by Leena Kerr and Jennifer Pratscher from the Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh).

The course is for all those who want to gain insight into Linux command line, basics of genome assembly, and variant calling and tree building. The course consists of theory and hands-on sessions, computers will be available at the venue.
